Over 140 battery swap stations co-built by NIO and multiple partners have been put into operation.
On December 1, with the official launch of the battery swap station at West Square of Shenyang Station, the first batch of five co-built battery swap stations between Zhongde Park Development and Construction Group Co., Ltd. and Wuhan NIO Energy Co., Ltd. have been completed and delivered.
The five battery swap stations put into operation this time mark the first project implementation since both parties signed the “Hundred Stations Co-construction Plan” in May 2025.
Currently, the two sides are committed to advancing related work such as site selection for the second batch of cooperative stations, including those in Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

It should be added that NIO’s “Hundred Stations Co-construction Plan” refers to an infrastructure expansion project where NIO collaborates with local government platform enterprises, urban investment companies, and transport investment companies to jointly build 100 battery swap stations, accelerating the layout of the battery swap network in key regions.
Today, NIO also disclosed for the first time the cooperation progress of the “Hundred Stations Plan”.
As of now, pragmatic cooperation has been carried out with 35 partners, including urban and transport investment companies from 25 provinces, cities, and regions. Over 140 co-built battery swap stations, involving multiple partners such as Wuhan Shouyi Group, Changsha Economic Development Group, Xi’an Urban Construction Investment Group, and Nanning Energy Group, have been put into operation.

Officially, NIO has invested a total of 18 billion yuan in the layout and operation of its charging and battery swap network.
As of December 1, 2025, NIO has deployed 8,431 charging and battery swap stations across the country, including 3,603 battery swap stations and 4,828 charging stations.
In the three northeastern provinces of China, as of December 1, NIO has deployed 409 charging and battery swap stations, including 75 battery swap stations and 334 charging stations.
