The first model of the Yijing brand will officially debut in April 2026 at the Beijing Auto Show.
On December 22nd, the first engineering prototype of the Yijing brand, a mid-to-high-end intelligent vehicle brand jointly created by Dongfeng and Huawei Qiankun, officially rolled off the production line. As the vehicle’s appearance hasn’t been officially revealed yet, it was covered with a protective wrap.
This milestone signifies that the brand’s product development has entered a crucial stage of physical verification.

In November this year, the Yijing brand was officially launched. Together with GAC’s Qijing and Baojun’s Huajing, it forms Huawei Qiankun’s “Jing” series brand matrix.
It is reported that, unlike the HIMA partnership model seen with brands like AITO, Luxeed, and Stelanto, Huawei will fully open its product development and operational system capabilities for the co-creation of the Yijing brand. This involves deep, full-process collaboration with Dongfeng, spanning from product definition and design to R&D, supply chain, and manufacturing.
Furthermore, Huawei will comprehensively empower Yijing with its complete IPD/IPMS operational mechanisms, full-process quality control standards, and global supply chain management experience. It will provide the Yijing brand with Huawei’s latest-generation Qiankun advanced driving assistance system, HarmonyOS cockpit, and a full-stack intelligent solution including Qiankun vehicle control, in-vehicle optical technology, and vehicle-cloud services.

With the acceleration of the first model’s mass production process, the first Yijing engineering prototype will be sent to Mohe, where temperatures can drop to -50°C (-58°F), for extreme cold-weather testing. This will rigorously assess key aspects such as battery performance, vehicle sealing, climate control system, and chassis stability in high-cold environments, comprehensively verifying the vehicle’s reliability under extreme conditions.
According to the plan, the first model under the Yijing brand will make its official debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2026. Looking ahead, Yijing plans to launch at least one all-new model annually, gradually building a product matrix covering multiple segments and vehicle types.
