XPeng’s German Deliveries Exceed 3,000 Units, G6 Named Annual Bestseller

XPeng’s overseas sales for full-year 2025 exceeded 45,000 units, ranking first among new automakers and second among Chinese brands.

XPeng Motors officially announced today that its delivery volume in the German market has officially exceeded 3,000 units, with the milestone vehicle being a high-performance version of the G6.

Notably, this model also won the title of 2025 German Mid-Size SUV Sales Champion among Chinese new energy vehicle startups.

On March 28, 2024, XPeng Motors officially entered the German market, just three years after its first overseas landing in Norway in 2021. This move represents a critical acceleration point in XPeng’s “Globalization 2.0” strategy.

According to its plan, XPeng aimed to capture 3% of Germany’s new energy vehicle segment by the end of 2024, corresponding to annual sales of approximately 2,000–3,000 units.

Initially, XPeng launched two flagship models in the German market—the XPeng G9 and XPeng P7—priced between €57,600–€69,600 and €49,600–€69,600, respectively. Both models are built on an 800V high-voltage platform, offer a maximum range of up to 702 kilometers, come standard with dual LiDAR sensors and the XNGP intelligent assisted driving system, directly competing with Tesla’s Model Y and Model 3.

Unlike its direct-to-consumer model in China, XPeng adopts a localized dealer network in Germany. It initially partnered with 12 dealers to operate across 24 retail locations. The company plans to increase its dealer count to 60 and expand retail locations to 120 by the end of 2026.

The breakthrough in the German market is merely a microcosm of XPeng’s broader European strategy.

Official data reveals that XPeng’s total overseas sales in 2025 exceeded 45,000 units, ranking first among Chinese EV startups and second among all Chinese independent brands.

By model, the XPeng G6 was the primary contributor to overseas sales, with annual deliveries surpassing 20,000 units. It also claimed the top spot among pure electric vehicles in France for December. Meanwhile, the XPeng G9 achieved sales of 4,629 units in Europe, securing the title of China’s best-selling large and mid-size pure electric SUV in Europe for 2025.

As of December 31, 2025, XPeng Motors has expanded into 60 overseas countries and regions, establishing 380 overseas stores—an increase of over 150% year-on-year.

Europe remains the key focus of XPeng’s global expansion. The company currently operates in 28 European countries with 290 stores, achieving 100% coverage in the Nordic region. In Germany alone, XPeng has surpassed 50 stores.
