The SAIC Z7 is positioned as a tech-focused coupe, measuring 5 meters in length with a 3-meter wheelbase and nearly 2 meters in width.

Details of the SAIC Z7’s exterior design were revealed as early as late February. The overall surfacing, styling details, and color options cater to young consumers’ individual expression, such as the electric purple-pink color scheme and diamond-flow lighting designs for both headlights and taillights, delivering high visual recognition.

Most notably, the SAIC Z7’s interior design details made their first appearance at today’s conference.

The interior features a two-tone color scheme, with a three-spoke steering wheel at the driver’s position and a narrow instrument screen intelligently displaying real-time driving information.

Additionally, the passenger side adopts a sunken storage space design with a built-in magnetic base, allowing users to display personalized items such as figurines and blind boxes, serving as an inspiration showcase with strong interactive appeal.

Also unveiled was the shooting brake variant SAIC Z7T, forming a dual-model matrix with the SAIC Z7. Richard Yu stated that the Z7T balances aesthetics and practicality, positioned as a “fashionable shooting brake.”

Exterior-wise, the Z7T shares the same front fascia and front body section as the Z7, while the rear section eliminates the pronounced fastback design to prioritize cargo practicality and second-row headroom. The rear retains the full-width taillight design with flowing starlight effects when illuminated.
