Geely launched the updated Xingyuan on May 28. Six variants priced at 61.8K–91.8K RMB ($8.5K-$12.7K) for a limited period.

The refresh targets range, cockpit, assisted driving, chassis. Goal: strengthen its position in the compact EV segment.
Exterior keeps the family design. Two new colors: “Cream Beige” and “Cherry Blossom Pink.” Side cameras added near front fenders.
Inside, the new Xingyuan runs Flyme Auto 2 with Longying No.1 chip. An 8.8-inch digital cluster and 14.6-inch central screen. Interior adds “Taro White” color, seat ventilation. A column-mounted shifter replaces the previous electronic toggle.

Range gets a major boost. A new 47 kWh CATL battery lifts CLTC range from 410 km to 480 km.
Smart driving is the core highlight. The Xingyuan adopts Geely’s Qianli Haohan H3 system. It supports highway NOA, automated parking, remote parking, memory parking. Also includes a 540-degree camera with transparent chassis view and Sentry Mode.
Chassis remains a differentiator. All variants come standard with rear‑wheel drive, multi‑link independent rear suspension, G-TCS 2.0 anti‑skid system, and an integrated ONEBOX braking system.
Geely says cumulative Xingyuan deliveries have surpassed 700K units since its October 2024 launch.

In 2026, monthly deliveries stay around 30K units. The model consistently ranks among China’s top three passenger vehicles across all categories.
The Xingyuan is also selling well overseas. It is sold as the Geely EX2 in global markets, already launched in Brazil, Indonesia, and Thailand.
In Brazil, the EX2 ranked second in local EV sales just 16 working days after launch. It delivered 3,602 units in April 2026 alone, holding the No.2 spot.

In Malaysia, the Proton e.MAS 5 — the local version of the Geely Galaxy Xingyuan — became the country’s top-selling EV in April. Registrations reached 1,772 units that month. Cumulative 2026 sales climbed to 8,473 units.
Geely plans to bring the EX2 to more markets in 2026, including Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru, Mexico, and South Africa, expanding its global footprint.
