Leapmotor Expands to Argentina with B10 and C10 EREV SUVs

Takeaways
  • Leapmotor launches B10 and C10 EREV SUVs in Argentina to tackle limited charging infrastructure.
  • Leapmotor partners with Stellantis to open 12 sales outlets and 20 after-sales locations nationwide.
  • Planned parts supply, service support, and Brazil production tie-up accelerate Leapmotor’s South America expansion.

Leapmotor officially entered the Argentine market on Aug. 18, launching the B10 and C10 as its first models in the country.

Both SUVs are offered with range-extender powertrains. The B10 targets the compact SUV segment, while the C10 sits in the midsize SUV class. Both models are built under Leapmotor’s global product strategy.

Unlike conventional battery-electric vehicles, the range-extender system uses electric motors for propulsion, while the engine mainly generates electricity.

For markets where charging infrastructure is still developing, the setup can ease concerns over driving range and charging access. Range-extender technology is therefore a key part of Leapmotor’s strategy in Argentina.

For sales and after-sales support, Leapmotor will tap Stellantis’ established local network in Argentina. The company plans to open 12 sales outlets and 20 after-sales locations in the first phase, covering major cities across the country.

The sales outlets will use dedicated Leapmotor retail areas within existing Stellantis dealerships, offering test drives, vehicle purchases and financing services.

On the service side, 20 dedicated Leapmotor after-sales locations will provide EV-specific support. Owners will also be able to use basic maintenance and roadside assistance from more than 300 Stellantis brand service locations across Argentina.

Mopar, Stellantis’ parts and service arm, will handle parts supply. Leveraging Stellantis’ local warehousing network, Leapmotor aims to cut parts delivery times and shorten repair waiting periods.

Argentina marks another step in Leapmotor’s South American expansion. Leapmotor entered Brazil in November 2025 with the C10, later adding the B10. The brand initially used Stellantis’ local network, covering 29 cities with 36 dealers.

Leapmotor is still expanding its Brazilian footprint. The company plans to add 20 more stores over the next two months, targeting coverage across all 26 Brazilian states plus the Federal District by the end of 2026. That would more than double the size of its current sales network in Brazil.

The two models are also planned for local production at Stellantis’ Goiana industrial complex in Pernambuco, further deepening Leapmotor’s localization in Brazil.

From Brazil to Argentina, Leapmotor is steadily broadening its South American footprint. Stellantis’ sales, manufacturing and after-sales infrastructure remains a key support for the Chinese EV maker’s regional expansion.
