- Leapmotor has shifted from European product launches to local manufacturing as B10 production begins in Zaragoza under a Stellantis partnership, reflecting pressure to localize and deepen market presence.
- B10 production started in Zaragoza; Leapmotor reported over 150,000 exports Jan–Sep 2026 and cumulative global deliveries above 1.8 million by end-September 2026.
- The expanded lineup targets mainstream European EV buyers against small-A and compact SUV segments, but risks include scaling local output, Stellantis integration, and maintaining margins during rapid expansion.
On October 12, Leapmotor appeared at the 2026 Paris Motor Show with its most comprehensive European product lineup to date.
At the same time, the company announced that production of the B10 had officially begun at its plant in Zaragoza, Spain.
This extends its European operations beyond product launches and sales networks into local manufacturing.
At the show, the B03 made its European debut. Known as the A05 in China, it is the third model to join Leapmotor’s European lineup this year, following the B05 (Lafa 5 in China) and B03X (A10 in China).

The D19 was also showcased as the brand’s flagship SUV, featuring Leapmotor’s latest solutions for smart cockpits and vehicle architecture.
According to Leapmotor, the D19 is equipped with its latest super hybrid range-extender technology and adopts a cell-to-body architecture.
The company also plans to introduce the model in markets including the Middle East.
This is Leapmotor’s second consecutive appearance at the Paris Motor Show.

When it first exhibited in 2024, its product lineup and distribution network in Europe were still in the early stages of expansion.
Two years later, as more models enter the European market, sales and after-sales networks continue to grow, and local production projects with Stellantis move forward, Leapmotor is shifting its European focus from introducing products to establishing localized operations.
The Zaragoza plant in Spain, where B10 production has begun, is part of a manufacturing partnership between Leapmotor and Stellantis.
The project draws on Stellantis’ existing industrial expertise and production systems to manufacture complete vehicles for the European market.

Leapmotor owners can also access Stellantis’ Free2move Charge ecosystem, which provides an integrated charging solution and access to more than one million public charging points across Europe.
As of September 2026, Leapmotor had expanded its European retail network to 1,020 outlets across 36 countries.
In France, the company had established 157 sales and after-sales outlets, including more than 17 in the Paris region.
In the French market, Leapmotor accounted for 1.6% of the country’s all-electric vehicle market in August 2026, with its share of the private customer segment reaching 2.2%.

The T03 ranked among the top three models in France’s private-customer A-segment car market.
The B10, Lafa 5 and B03X are also helping the brand broaden its product coverage.
Overseas operations are becoming an increasingly important contributor to Leapmotor’s growth.
From January to September 2026, the company exported more than 150,000 vehicles, achieving its full-year overseas export target ahead of schedule.
By the end of September, Leapmotor’s cumulative global deliveries had exceeded 1.8 million vehicles.
Its business now spans more than 50 overseas markets across Europe, South America, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, and North America.
