On April 29, XPeng Motors (stock code, refer to CNEVPost) announced that the 50,000th production unit of the XPeng P7+ was officially rolled off the assembly line at the Zhaoqing Smart Factory.

Since its launch on November 7, 2024, the P7+ has achieved this milestone in just five months, with an average monthly production exceeding 10,000 units. This reflects XPeng’s efficient execution in capacity expansion and supply chain collaboration.
As the largest model in the XPeng P7 series in terms of space, the P7+ received over 31,528 orders within three hours of its launch, and its initial monthly production capacity exceeded 10,000 units. As of April 2025, the cumulative delivery volume has surpassed 40,000 units, firmly placing it in the top three in the mid-large pure electric sedan segment.

The rapid popularity of the P7+ is attributed to its comprehensive upgrades in space, intelligence, and range, which precisely meet the core needs of young families and tech-savvy drivers for “large space, high intelligence, and long range.” Additionally, a reasonable pricing strategy has further enhanced the market penetration of the model.
At this year’s Shanghai Auto Show, XPeng introduced the P7+ Ultra Long-Range Max version, which features a 5C supercharge AI battery that supports a 420-kilometer charge in just 10 minutes. It also comes with intelligent variable-damping shock absorbers and AI chassis technology, priced at 208,800 yuan.

This version further elevates the competitiveness of the P7+ in terms of performance. However, it has also sparked dissatisfaction among some existing owners, who question the rapid product update pace of XPeng, posing new challenges for user experience management.
The year 2025 has been internally positioned by XPeng as a “product year.” Currently, the XPeng MONA M03 and P7+ are the main sales drivers. The future market performance will largely depend on the product refinement, intelligent innovation, charging experience upgrade, and pricing strategy control of new products.
