Xpeng Motors announced today that through strategic cooperation with Charge Plus, Singapore’s largest charging operator, and Plugsurfing, Europe’s largest charging service provider, its charging service network now covers 2.07 million charging piles globally.
In the Southeast Asian market, Xpeng has become the first Chinese automaker to connect to over 3,500 charging piles in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
Through in-depth cooperation with Charge Plus, Xpeng covers 30% of Singapore’s public charging facilities and the highways of five countries. The two parties also plan to build branded charging stations in core cities.
In terms of its European market layout, Xpeng has integrated 850,000 charging piles through the Plugsurfing platform, covering 27 countries and achieving full-process digital charging services. It is worth noting that the number of charging piles on the Plugsurfing platform accounts for approximately 85% of the total number of public charging piles in Europe.
By partnering with leading international charging service providers, Xpeng Motors has successfully built a global charging network. Its dual-track strategy of “self-operation + ecosystem” has not only reduced costs but also improved operational efficiency.
Xpeng Motors is accelerating the layout of its energy replenishment network. As of April this year, Xpeng has built 2,160 self-operated charging stations, covering 420 cities in China, making it the most extensive high-power charging network in the country.
