Notably, BMW will also launch a long-wheelbase version of the iX3L specifically for Chinese consumers, to be produced at the Shenyang plant starting next year.

To ensure product competitiveness, BMW has ramped up R&D investments, with 2024 expenditures hitting €9.1 billion. This fuels groundbreaking technologies for the Neue Klasse lineup, the new electronic and electrical architecture, combined with the BMW driving super brain, panoramic iDrive interaction system, and large cylindrical battery structure, three core technologies, provide a more intelligent experience for the New Era models.
These innovations are already bearing fruit. The Neue Klasse concept showcased at April’s Shanghai Auto Show featured a next-gen intelligent driving system, hinting at its technological prowess.

According to BMW’s global plan, by 2027, BMW will launch more than 40 new models, covering a variety of power forms. Neue Klasse technology will gradually permeate all product segments, with the first production model iX3 set for debut at September’s Munich Motor Show.
As BMW’s Neue Klasse era unfolds, its potential to redefine automotive innovation remains highly anticipated.
