Today, Hesai Technology announced an exclusive fixed-point cooperation with ORA, a brand under GWM. The new-generation ORA models will be equipped with Hesai LiDAR and are set for mass production and delivery within the year.
ORA, GWM’s intelligent BEV brand targeting the female market, is backed by GWM’s in-house developed Coffee Pilot. It has a strong smart sensing architecture and a high-computing-power intelligent driving platform. At the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, Hesai’s ATX LiDAR debuted on the ORA Lightning Cat Tourist Model, helping it cover all-day scenarios from driving to parking and from highways to urban and rural areas.

Hesai Technology’s AT series LiDAR has also been successfully applied to models like the GWM Wey Blueshan and Gaoshan. This cooperation further strengthens their layout in the intelligent driving field.
The ATX, targeting mid-and high-end models, has secured fixed-point cooperation with over ten models from 11 leading Chinese automakers including BYD, Chery, GWM, and Changan. It started mass production in Q1 2025. Hesai CEO Yifan Li said that by mid-April 2025, ATX deliveries exceeded 50,000 units.
On April 21, Hesai officially released new vehicle-grade LiDAR products: the ETX ultra-long-range, AT1440 ultra-HD, and FTX solid-state flash LiDAR.
