According to 一见 Auto, Li Auto has adjusted its annual production target to 640,000 units. This includes 520,000 units for the range-extended L series and 120,000 units for pure electric products (including MEGA).
At the beginning of this year, the annual sales target of Li Auto was 700,000 units, including 50,000 units for the pure electric i series and at least 560,000 units for the range-extended L series.

Compared with the previous sales targets, the main changes in this round of adjustments are the annual and range-extended L series sales targets. However, the company plans to sell more pure electric products, namely the pure electric i series and MEGA.
An industry insider disclosed that the adjustment of production targets is due to the fact that the orders received after the launch of the L6 refreshed version did not significantly exceed expectations. Another source with knowledge of the matter stated that the reason for increasing the sales expectations for MEGA is that since the pre-sale of MEGA began, the orders in hand have approached 10,000 units. In contrast, the sales volume of MEGA for the whole of last year was just over 10,000 units.

In 2024, Li Auto ranked as the top-selling new-energy vehicle brand with a volume of 500,000 units. If it achieves the target of 640,000 units this year, Li Auto will still be at the forefront of new-energy vehicle manufacturers in 2025.
For reference, let’s take a look at the sales targets of other automakers for 2025: Zeekr (including Lynk & Co) has a sales target of 710,000 units, Leapmotor aims for 500,000-600,000 units, NIO targets 440,000 units, and XPeng and Xiaomi are targeting at least 380,000 and 350,000 units respectively.
