On June 9, XPeng CEO He Xiaopeng officially announced via a post that the all-new XPeng G7 will officially debut on June 11 at 19:30.
He Xiaopeng teased that the XPeng G7 is a smart SUV rarely seen on the market, uniquely combining “extreme cutting-edge tech + spacious comfort.” It’s also a future-oriented vehicle and the first AI car equipped with Level 3 computing power. Furthermore, it will deliver ultimate cutting-edge technology in eight key areas including intelligent driving, smart cockpit, and the “three electrics” (battery, motor, electronic control).

Alongside the car’s debut, its exterior color options will be revealed. Built around the “Starry River Secret Realm” color theme, it will offer six shades: Starry Dawn Grey, New Moon Silver, Nebula White, Midnight Black, Cloud Shell Beige, and Interstellar Green.

As early as January this year, the XPeng G7 completed its formal filing with the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology). MIIT data shows the G7 measures 4892mm long, 1925mm wide, and 1655mm high, with a wheelbase of 2890mm. It will offer optional 18-inch and 20-inch wheels.

In terms of powertrain, all variants feature a single rear-mounted electric motor with 218 kW peak power-matching the G6-and a top speed of 202 km/h. For range, the XPeng G7 offers two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery capacities: 68.5 kWh and 80.8 kWh (produced by CALB), delivering a CLTC-rated range between 577 km and 702 km.
The pricing for the XPeng G7 has not been officially announced yet. Based on its positioning within XPeng’s lineup between the G6 and G9 (starting from ¥176,800 to ¥248,800), and considering comments from XPeng VP @托马斯电火车 suggesting the “G7 might be the most competitive SUV in the ¥250,000 class this year,” most industry analysts predict the final G7 price will likely fall within the ¥220,000 to ¥230,000 range.
