On June 23, Firefly officially began rolling out the OTA 1.0.5 update for its Aster intelligent vehicle system.
First, a note on the naming of Firefly’s intelligent system – “Aster.” Inspired by the brand’s signature petal purple hue, this name carries the floral symbolism of wisdom and dexterity.

This OTA primarily enhances the overall stability of the Aster system, improving the user experience in both the “Smart Cockpit” and “Intelligent Driving Assistance” domains. The key updates are as follows:
Smart Cockpit:
- Added “Smart Air Purge” function: Automatically executes intermittent cabin ventilation cycles at timed intervals after vehicle locking.
- Optimized system stability:
• Resolved occasional black screen issues during charging
• Fixed sporadic data display errors for charge limit settings during system sleep/wake cycles - Improved overall smart cockpit experience.
Intelligent Driving Assistance:
- Enhanced active safety features with improved recognition accuracy
- Smoothed visual-fusion parking assistance
- Increased stability for remote parking assist
- Optimized Navigation Assisted Pilot (NAP) for:
• Comfortable cornering
• Smoother active ramp entry/exit - Improved lane-changing efficiency and speed limit recognition strategies to reduce wrong-lane occurrences
- Stabilized environmental simulation display for more reliable surroundings perception

This update serves as an optimization release. Firefly’s first major post-launch version upgrade is scheduled for early August, introducing highly anticipated features including:
• Built-in dashcam functionality
• Blind-spot camera view during turns
• Customizable wake words for voice assistant
