Interior of Onvo L90 Unveiled: Six VIP Seats plus Fridge and TV

The L90 will be available for test drives and pre-orders starting July 10.

On July 2, Onvo officially released detailed images of the L90’s interior cabin design.

A total of six official images were released in this preview, clearly showcasing the cabin layout of the L90. From the images, it’s evident that the L90 adopts a large six-seat configuration, which the brand refers to as “six VIP seats.” Let’s take a look at the interior details from the front row through to the third row.

The Onvo L90 features a “wrap-around cabin” design, with horizontal lines and a two-tier dashboard in the front row. The hidden ambient lighting strips and clean lines reflect NIO’s signature minimalist aesthetic, giving the front cabin a wide and open feel.

In terms of features, the L90 is equipped with a single large horizontal central display in the front. Although the exact screen size hasn’t been revealed, for reference, the Onvo L60 had a 17.2-inch display. Below the screen, there are dual wireless charging pads and dual cup holders, while the center console has an open-space design underneath for placing handbags or other personal items.

Moving to the second row, the right seat features a zero-gravity mode. According to Onvo, the spacious layout eliminates the need for sliding seats, enabling one-touch entry into a zero-gravity reclining position. The preview images also show a “dual-bed mode,” where the fully reclined first-row seat and second-row seat can form a flat sleeping surface—essentially turning the car into a two-person bedroom.

Additionally, there’s a ceiling-mounted screen in the second row, similar in size to the central control display. The in-car refrigerator is placed behind the front center armrest and can be controlled via the rear touch screen.

Beyond the “fridge, TV, and sofa” setup, there are other practical family-friendly features: metal hooks on the B-pillars, a small foldable tray table on the right side of the second row, and magnetic accessories behind the driver’s seat—all of which expand the car’s suitability for home-life scenarios.

For added comfort, the electric seat adjustment buttons for all six seats are now located on the door panels. The air vents on the roof can also be manually adjusted, lowering the learning curve for basic features.

The third row maintains a good level of spaciousness and visibility. The L90 uses a split panoramic sunroof design, preserving a bright and open experience for rear passengers.

In terms of functionality, the third-row seats come with their own adjustment buttons, including recline support. There are also air vents at foot level, ensuring comfort. Both sides are equipped with cup holders and phone mounts.

As the flagship SUV of the Onvo lineup, the L90 showcases considerable effort in interior design—not only in visible features but also in subtle, tactile details like ultra-suede headliners, extensive leather wrapping, and full-length wooden trim panels. According to the company, the goal is to “give every family member an equally comfortable experience.”

Following the release of the L90’s interior photos, online reactions were divided. Some praised the L90 for “exceeding expectations for a NIO sub-brand,” noting its strong sense of luxury. Others criticized it for simply following the market trend of “fridge, TV, and sofa,” and not delivering a truly groundbreaking luxury experience in terms of practicality.

Onvo has confirmed that the L90 will arrive in stores for public viewing and open for pre-orders starting July 10. We’ll be keeping a close eye on how the market responds.
