AITO Reaches 700,000 Deliveries in 40 Months, Setting a New Record for Chinese Premium EV Brands

AITO has set a new benchmark for the fastest delivery growth among Chinese premium new energy vehicle brands.

Today, Kang Bo, Vice President of Seres Group, shared a post celebrating AITO’s latest milestone. The brand has achieved a cumulative delivery volume of 700,000 units within just 40 months, setting a record in the Chinese premium EV segment. The AITO M8 and M9 models continue to lead their respective price categories, topping sales in the RMB 400,000 ($56,000) and RMB 500,000 ($70,000) segments.

According to previously released sales data, in the first five months of this year, AITO’s cumulative sales in Chinese mainland reached 108,800 units, consistently ranking among the top three new energy startups. In June, AITO delivered 44,685 vehicles across its entire lineup, with the flagship M9 contributing 13,718 units and surpassing 200,000 cumulative deliveries, securing its position as the best-selling model in the RMB 500,000 ($70,000) segment. The M8, launched only 45 days ago, has already exceeded 20,000 deliveries, with 21,185 units delivered in June alone.

Currently, AITO offers four models—M5, M7, M8, and M9—covering a price range from RMB 200,000 to RMB 600,000 ($28,000 – $84,000). Beyond the M8 and M9, the M5 has surpassed 130,000 cumulative deliveries, while the all-new M7 has topped 300,000 units. According to earlier reports, AITO plans to launch new models in the second half of this year. The new M7 is expected to open for pre-orders in August and officially launch and begin deliveries in September.

With China’s booming NEV exports, AITO’s global ambitions are also worth noting. The M5 and M7 have already been exported under the Seres brand, and reports suggest that the M9 will soon enter premium markets in Europe and Southeast Asia. Industry analysts forecast that AITO’s overseas sales could exceed 100,000 units by 2026.
