XPeng Officially Launches New G6/G9 Models in Europe

Pre-orders open simultaneously on July 11 in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and Germany.

On July 14, XPeng unveiled its latest product lineup at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed and officially announced the European launch of its 2025 G6 and G9 models. Pre-orders opened simultaneously on July 11 across eight countries—Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and Germany—with deliveries expected to begin later this summer.

XPeng maintains a value-driven pricing strategy while upgrading specifications. The G6 RWD starts at €47,600, and the G9 RWD starts at €59,600.

Both models are built on XPeng’s advanced 800V high-voltage architecture and feature revolutionary 5C ultra-fast charging battery technology, allowing 10%–80% charging in just 12 minutes. The G9 supports peak charging power of 525kW, while the G6 reaches 451kW—setting new benchmarks for EV charging standards.

In terms of performance, the G6 Long-Range RWD version offers a WLTP range of 535 km and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, directly targeting the Tesla Model Y. The flagship G9, with a 585 km range and 4.2-second 0–100 km/h acceleration (AWD), competes in the premium segment against models like the BMW iX.

XPeng has also tailored the new models to European user preferences:

  • The G6 adds a new “Nebula Purple” exterior color, wood-grain trim, suede headliner, a capacitive steering wheel, and supports Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration.
  • The G9 features upgrades including heat-insulated roof panels, panoramic glass roof with thermal protection, and ten-point massage seats.

This launch builds on XPeng’s strong momentum in Europe. In the first half of 2025, XPeng delivered 18,701 vehicles overseas, marking a 217% year-over-year increase and topping the Chinese EV sales charts in 10 markets including Denmark and Norway. The G6 and G9 had previously secured the top sales positions among Chinese brands in Europe’s premium mid-size and large electric SUV segments, respectively.

Additionally, during the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the XPeng G6 and the soon-to-launch P7+ made their debut at the iconic hill climb. Co-President Brian Gu personally took the wheel to demonstrate the vehicles’ dynamic performance, earning praise for their “exceptional agility” and “leading electrification experience.”

With the new G6/G9 now rooted in Europe and the P7+ arriving later this year, XPeng is accelerating its “Overseas 2.0” strategy by combining ultra-fast charging technology with premium positioning to scale its global footprint.
