The new vehicle features the full suite of Huawei Qiankun ADS 4.0 autonomous driving hardware/software, along with the Huawei HarmonyOS 5 cockpit.
The Zhiyin’s HarmonyOS cockpit is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, while higher-trim models feature a 15.6-inch 2.5K central control screen.

Last week, ChinaEv Home had the exclusive opportunity to preview and photograph the all-new VOYAH Zhiyin in Beijing. As a new pure-electric model under the HIMA portfolio, it is set to become VOYAH’s main volume driver this year.

The new VOYAH Zhiyin measures 4810mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1636mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2925mm, placing it in the mid-size pure-electric SUV segment.

The most significant exterior upgrades include the adoption of the same intelligent light curtain as the FREE+, along with the addition of small blue ADAS indicator lights on the daytime running lights, taillights, and side mirrors. Furthermore, the Zhiyin will also feature the high-sport wheels from the FREE+ (though the photographed prototype had the standard smaller wheels).

Next comes the core upgrade spanning both exterior and interior: the full suite of Huawei Qiankun ADS 4.0 ADAS hardware and software, plus the Huawei HarmonyOS 5 cockpit. This makes the Zhiyin the first pure-electric “Huawei-powered” SUV in the 200,000 RMB price range.

Notably, the HarmonyOS cockpit in the Zhiyin is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip. The high-spec model’s 15.6-inch 2.5K central control screen also supports horizontal sliding to the front passenger position.

Complementing the new intelligent hardware and software, the Zhiyin’s interior has undergone a complete refresh, radiating a strong sense of premium luxury.

Examples include the center speaker with 12 LED beads above the central screen, full-vehicle ambient lighting with diffuse reflection effects covering the dashboard, door panels, and center console, and extensive use of color-contrasted soft-touch materials on almost all contact surfaces—all meeting the material standards expected of luxury brands.

Additionally, the Zhiyin upgrades all seat materials to a 12-layer structure + 15mm slow-rebound foam, keeping pace with this year’s trend of intense competition in seat comfort. All four seats feature ventilation, heating, and massage functions, while the rear seatbacks offer stepless adjustment up to a 127° recline angle.

While it lacks a rear ceiling screen, the Zhiyin still provides a rare-in-class -6°C to 50°C refrigerated compartment. Beyond the large 2.26㎡ panoramic glass roof, VOYAH has also included an electric sunshade (another rarity in its class). The rear seats feature not only electric recline and reset buttons but also a 220V power outlet—these are thoughtful touches.

Currently, we’ve only photographed one pre-production spec. Its 79kWh battery delivers a CLTC range of 650km, and the full-domain 800V platform enables 5C ultra-fast charging across the Zhiyin lineup.
In summary, VOYAH’s upgrades to the Zhiyin are comprehensive. From exterior design, interior materials, seat quality, comfort features, and overall NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) to intelligent ADAS and the smart cockpit, there’s a clear determination to match higher-tier competitors.
However, the Zhiyin’s size isn’t its strongest selling point in the 200,000 RMB ($27.8K) market, facing competition from larger popular models like the NIO Onvo L60 and XPeng G7. Its key static advantages lie in its feature set, luxurious ambiance, and the backing of Huawei’s intelligent technology.
As for the more critical dynamic performance, stay tuned—we’ll bring you our first-hand impressions as soon as possible.
