Leapmotor’s B01 is the first all-electric sedan in its B series, priced between ¥89,800 ($12,572) and ¥119,800 ($16,772). In just three days after launch, it secured over 10,132 orders.
Only seven days have passed since the launch of this new B-series all-electric sedan, and the speed at which it reached this milestone has set a new production record for the brand.

As the first model in the B-series, the B01 was officially launched on July 24, with a price range of ¥89,800 ($12,572) to ¥119,800 ($16,772).
While focusing on high cost-performance, the B01 doesn’t compromise on features. Among the six variants, the higher trims come with LiDAR for smart driving functions, and the range varies from 430km to 650km, meeting the diverse needs of users.

Notably, by July 27, Leapmotor had already announced that in the first 72 hours after launch, it secured 10,132 orders for the B01. As of today, the 10,000th vehicle has officially been produced, demonstrating the tight production and sales rhythm.
According to the user profile shared by Leapmotor CEO Cao Li, over 70% of the first batch of owners opted for the 650km long-range version, and more than 70% are under 35 years old, further confirming the brand’s appeal among younger consumers.

The rapid production ramp-up of the B01 sets the stage for Leapmotor to accelerate its sales growth in the second half of the year. Following this, the company is also progressing with its D-series lineup. On July 28, senior executives Cao Li and Xu Jun revealed that the first full-size SUV in the D series is now undergoing summer testing, with an expected price targeting the ¥300,000 ($41,696) range.
In terms of sales performance, Leapmotor delivered over 220,000 vehicles in the first half of 2025, marking a year-on-year growth of over 150%, and achieving 44% of its annual target of 500,000 units. A significant driver behind this growth is the B-series, launched this year.
In addition to the B01, the first model in the B-series, the B10, has also delivered impressive results. In June, Leap Motor delivered a total of 48,006 vehicles, with 14,316 units of the B10, accounting for nearly one-third of the total sales, providing a critical boost to the overall growth of the brand.
