Updates will cover the Zeekr X, 007, 001, and 7X. Other current models will see no changes this year.
On August 8, Zeekr officially announced its product update roadmap for the second half of 2025, along with an early information release and notice to customers.
Update schedule:
- Zeekr X — Updates will roll out between September and Q4 2025, adding a variant equipped with the new “Golden Brick” battery and minor interior refinements.
- Zeekr 007, 001, 7X are set to be upgraded in Q4 2025.
- Zeekr 007 — Minor interior and exterior detail changes; driver-assistance package and battery–e-drive system remain unchanged.
- Zeekr 001 — To be upgraded with the Thor-U chipset and 900V high-voltage system, plus subtle interior and exterior refinements.
- Zeekr 7X — Select trims to gain the Thor-U chipset and 900V high-voltage system, along with minor design tweaks.
Final configurations and specifications will be confirmed at launch. Other current models will see no changes this year.
During the product transition period, Zeekr will offer current versions of the X, 007, 001, and 7X with limited-time incentives, including five-year 0% financing.

In H1 2025, Zeekr delivered a cumulative 90,740 vehicles, up 14.5% year-on-year, strengthening its position among China’s premium NEV brands.
High-end models continue to drive growth: the Zeekr 009 recorded 11,292 deliveries in the first half, topping both the RMB 400,000+ ($56,000+) pure EV MPV and luxury MPV sales charts. The Zeekr 007 GT exceeded 10,000 deliveries in its launch month, becoming a new growth driver.
However, challenges remain. The Zeekr 001 shooting brake faces intense competition from rivals like the Xiaomi SU7, with frequent model refreshes previously creating customer trust concerns and sales pressure. The Zeekr 9X, priced at RMB 600,000 ($84,000), must also convert traditional BBA (Benz, BMW and Audi) luxury SUV buyers to EVs. For Zeekr, the upcoming product refresh cycle will be critical to sustaining momentum.
