XPeng’s market layout in Thailand began last year with SUVs. At the end of August 2024, XPeng launched the right-hand-drive version of the G6 SUV in Thailand, targeting both the local market and other right-hand-drive regions.

The X9, following the G6, became XPeng’s second model to support both left-hand and right-hand drive. It debuted in Thailand in December of the same year, with the first deliveries taking place in February 2025 at an official price of 2,749,000 Thai baht ($76,190).

Since the beginning of this year, as XPeng’s global flagship model, the X9 has been officially launched in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, as well as Macao and Hong Kong, China. In July, the first XPeng X9 produced at the local factory in Indonesia was successfully delivered to customers there.

In terms of product configuration, the X9 comes standard across the lineup with an active rear-wheel steering system, achieving a turning radius of 5.4 meters. It is equipped with an AI intelligent chassis that can adjust the suspension in advance according to road conditions.

Regarding range and power, the X9 is built on an 800V platform with an energy consumption of 16.2 kWh per 100 km. It offers two battery options—a 94.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate pack and a 105 kWh ternary lithium pack—delivering CLTC ranges of 650 km (5C charging) and 740 km (3C charging), respectively. Both single-motor and dual-motor versions are available.

As of June 10, global cumulative deliveries of the X9 have exceeded 30,000 units, setting a new record for high-end pure electric MPVs. According to its plan, XPeng will cover 60 countries and regions with over 300 global service outlets by the end of 2025.
