Whether the all-new M7 can regain a monthly sales level of 20,000 units hinges on its final pricing and configuration.
On September 5, the all-new AITO M7 model officially opened for pre-sales, with a pre-sale price starting at RMB 288,000 ($40,364). The vehicle is available in both all-electric and range-extended versions, and is set to officially launch on September 23.
Compared to the current model, the entry-level pre-sale price of the all-new AITO M7 has increased by RMB 38,200 ($5,353). However, the newly upgraded smart technology and comfort features continue to attract significant user attention.
Official data shows that within 10 minutes of opening pre-orders, the all-new M7 received over 20,000 small orders.

The all-new AITO M7 adopts a new family-style design language, with styling similar to the M8. Its body dimensions are 5080×1999×1780 mm, and the wheelbase reaches 3030 mm. Compared to the previous model, the new vehicle is 60 mm longer, 54 mm wider, and the wheelbase has been extended by 210 mm.
For the interior, the new model features a triple-screen layout, including a driver’s instrument screen, a front passenger entertainment screen, and an AR-HUD. Comfort features have been significantly upgraded, including a driver’s zero-gravity seat with one-touch recline, a 17.3-inch rear entertainment screen, and an onboard refrigerated/heated compartment.

The new vehicle is available in both range-extended and all-electric versions. The range-extended version is equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 118 kW, along with two power battery options of 37 kWh and 53 kWh, offering a comprehensive range of over 1,600 km. The all-electric version features a 100 kWh battery pack, delivering a maximum range of over 700 km.
The all-new AITO M7 is equipped with the Huawei ADS 4 advanced driver-assistance system. In terms of hardware, in addition to the 192-line lidar on the roof, there is also a high-precision solid-state lidar at the rear, along with 12 ultrasonic sensors and five 4D millimeter-wave radars, achieving simultaneous upgrades in intelligence and range.

Official data shows that since its launch, cumulative deliveries of the AITO M7 have exceeded 300,000 units, making it once the best-selling model under the AITO brand.
However, due to factors such as intensified competition from rival models and delayed product updates, sales of the AITO M7 have declined significantly in recent months. Data indicates that in January 2025, monthly sales of the current M7 remained at around 8,000 units. However, from May to July, sales continued to drop, falling below the 5,000-unit mark, with monthly sales of 4,139, 5,411, and 4,273 units respectively.
With the start of pre-orders for the all-new AITO M7, whether it can regain monthly sales of 20,000 units or even reach 30,000, becoming a comprehensive standout in the 300,000-yuan-class new energy midsize SUV market, will depend on the final configuration details and pricing of the new model.
