Qianli Tech Unveils AFARI Brand, AI Strategy Initiates “Afari Plan”

The debut of AFARI signifies Qianli Technology’s complete transition from the “Lifan era” to the “AI era” .

On September 28, Qianli Technology officially launched its new brand “AFARI” and unveiled the “Afari Plan” , centered around One Brain, One OS, and One Agent. This marks the company’s official entry into the AI strategy 2.0 phase .

Formerly known as Lifan Technology , the company underwent restructuring and a name change in October 2024, introducing an AI team led by Yin Qi . Within 11 months, they established a full-stack layout covering intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, and intelligent mobility .

Currently, the team’s L4-level Robotaxi prototype vehicles are undergoing all-weather manned testing in Chongqing’s Liangjiang New Area, with formal large-scale deployment expected in the first quarter of 2026 .

At the launch event, Chairman Yin Qi elaborated on the “the Afari Plan” .

Qianli Technology will implement the “AI + Terminal” ecosystem in three steps:

First, create the One Brain driven by a large model with hundreds of billions of parameters to serve as the cloud hub for all terminals .

Second, launch the cross-chip, cross-device One OS to accumulate user memories, behaviors, and preferences into migratable “digital genes”.

Third, incubate the One Agent super assistant to achieve seamless services across “vehicle-home-retail-factory” scenarios .

It is reported that Qianli Technology aims to complete the full-link industry layout for Robotaxi within the next 18 months .

To accelerate the plan’s implementation, Qianli Technology is speeding up the development of L4-level intelligent driving solutions, collaborating with Geely to develop dedicated Robotaxi vehicle models, and partnering with leading domestic and international mobility service providers to jointly build the Robotaxi operation service platform .

According to the plan, Qianli Technology, together with its partners, will achieve large-scale Robotaxi operation services in 10 cities globally, deploying over 1,000 Robotaxis in a single city .
