Horizon Robotics and ZF Debut coPILOT ADAS, Targeting 2026 Delivery

The coPILOT system can achieve up to 1000+ TOPS of comprehensive computing performance.

On October 27, Horizon Robotics and ZF deepened their strategic collaboration, jointly launching the coPILOT advanced driver-assistance system in the Chinese market—a pioneering solution capable of supporting Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) in urban environments.

The system has already been designated for models under a domestic Chinese automaker and is scheduled for mass production and delivery in 2026.

The coPILOT system is built upon ZF’s self-developed ProAI computing platform, with its core computational power provided by Horizon Robotics’ flagship performance solution, the Journey 6P. Delivering 560 TOPS, the Journey 6P enables the implementation of large-scale assisted driving models such as end-to-end, VLA, and VLM.

According to official statements, leveraging the flexible combined computing power of Journey 6P, the coPILOT system can achieve up to 1000+ TOPS of comprehensive computing performance. This allows it to fully cover functionalities including highway assistance, urban driving assistance, automated parking, and seamless “parking-space to parking-space” scenarios.

It is also noteworthy that, as of August 2025, cumulative mass production of Horizon’s Journey series has surpassed 10 million units, making Horizon the first domestic intelligent driving technology brand to reach the tens of millions milestone.

In addition, the Journey 6 series has secured platform-based mass production partnerships with over 20 automakers and brands, empowering the mass production and launch of more than 100 assisted driving models in 2025.
