It took Firefly less than four months from its market launch to achieve its first delivery in Europe by August.
On November 18th, the right-hand-drive model of NIO’s sub-brand Firefly officially entered mass production, with the first batch scheduled for shipment to the Singapore market, signifying a further acceleration in Firefly’s global expansion.
Official data shows that it took less than four months from Firefly’s market launch to achieving its first delivery in Europe in August, setting the fastest record for NIO’s overseas market expansion.
To date, deliveries have progressively commenced in the Netherlands, Norway, and Belgium, with test drives and deliveries soon to begin in Denmark, Greece, Austria, Portugal, and Luxembourg.
Looking back at Firefly’s performance in the domestic market, the model frequently trended online due to its exterior design during its initial launch phase. Achieving over 10,000 units delivered within 99 days demonstrated the product’s competitiveness through market performance.
On October 11th, Firefly launched a limited edition of 666 “Nocturnal Species” units, featuring comprehensive upgrades in exterior design, chassis tuning, driving experience, and identity markers. On October 14th, Firefly officially introduced three exclusive limited-edition paint designs. By late October, Firefly successfully made the shortlist as one of the seven finalists for “2026 Denmark’s Car of the Year.”
Data indicates that in October 2025, the Firefly brand delivered 5,912 new vehicles, marking the third consecutive month of month-on-month growth in deliveries. As of November 11th, cumulative deliveries of Firefly vehicles reached 26,242 units.
