Li Auto Reaches Milestone: 20,000 Supercharging Piles Installed

According to the plan, Li Auto aims to complete the construction of 4,000 supercharging stations by the end of 2025.

On December 4th, Li Auto officially completed the installation of its 20,000th supercharging pile. It took only 2 years and 8 months from the first pile to the deployment of the 20,000th.

To celebrate this milestone, the company is offering an exclusive benefit for Li Auto owners: from December 5th to December 31st, 2025, owners who charge for 20 kWh or more at any Li Auto supercharging station nationwide will receive one coupon for a 20% discount on charging service fees.

As of December 4th, Li Auto has put into operation 3,648 supercharging stations with over 20,000 supercharging piles across the country.

On the technical front, Li Auto is comprehensively advancing into the era of 4C and 5C ultra-fast charging.

Currently, all its charging piles have a power output of no less than 250kW, with 4C and 5C ultra-fast charging piles accounting for over 61% of the total. Its self-developed 5C supercharging pile boasts a single-pile peak power of up to 520kW, enabling a “500 km range replenishment in 12 minutes” charging experience. Coupled with 800V high-voltage platform technology, this effectively alleviates users’ range anxiety.

In terms of layout strategy, Li Auto employs a dual-drive model focusing on both “highways and urban areas.” For highway scenarios, it has built over 1,000 supercharging stations. The 18 busiest national highways have been fully covered, with an average of one Li Auto supercharging station every 141 kilometers. The urban charging network is even denser. The company states that it has established a 10-minute charging life circle in first and second-tier cities, with core areas achieving coverage within an average radius of 3 kilometers.

According to the plan, Li Auto aims to complete the construction of 4,000 supercharging stations by the end of 2025, which means the company will continue its high-intensity investment throughout December.
