On Dec. 29, SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) announced that Baojun Huajing S, the first flagship model developed under its deepened strategic cooperation with Huawei, has officially gone live on the Huawei Qiankun App.

This signals the completion of R&D validation and the vehicle’s entry into the user engagement phase, with a market launch planned for the first half of 2026.
SGMW and Huawei began cooperating in 2018, initially in areas such as industrial internet and cloud computing, before gradually extending the partnership into core segments of intelligent vehicles.
In September this year, the two companies signed a “Three-Intelligence” cooperation agreement, focusing on assisted driving, intelligent cockpits, and smart manufacturing. Huajing S is the first production model to materialize under this framework.

Positioned as the flagship product of the partnership, Huajing S adopts a “full Huawei stack” for its intelligent configuration.
The vehicle is equipped as standard with Huawei Qiankun ADS 4 Pro, the HarmonySpace 5 cockpit system, and the Qiankun vehicle-cloud platform HUAWEI IVCS.
The model also features Huawei’s in-cabin LiDAR-based visual solution Limera, using the same hardware combination as the updated Aito M7 Pro. It is expected to support urban NCA assisted driving functions.
In terms of positioning, Huajing S targets the mid-to-large family vehicle segment. It is a six-seat plug-in hybrid SUV with dimensions of 5,235 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3,105 mm.

It rides on 21-inch wheels, with overall size comparable to models such as the Li Auto L9 and Aito M9.
On the powertrain side, Huajing S uses a plug-in hybrid system built around a 1.5T engine with a maximum output of 105 kW.
Battery options include 31 kWh and 41.9 kWh packs depending on configuration, delivering pure-electric ranges of 130 km, 160 km, or 175 km.
Given the Wuling Baojun brand’s market positioning, the Huajing S is expected to be priced between RMB 150,000 and RMB 200,000 ($21,000–$28,000), with key competitors including models such as the Geely M9 and Leapmotor C16 in the same plug-in hybrid SUV segment.
