Aster 1.3.0 OTA in China spans four areas, including intelligent assisted driving, the intelligent cockpit, the in-car companion lumo, and overall vehicle experience.
On Dec. 30, firefly officially launched the aster 1.3.0 intelligent system in the Chinese market and began a phased over-the-air (OTA) rollout.

The update spans four areas, including intelligent assisted driving, the intelligent cockpit, the in-car companion lumo, and overall vehicle experience.
In the assisted driving module, version 1.3.0 adds door-opening image alerts and blind-spot warning prompts.
Based on surrounding conditions, the system automatically switches to the corresponding side camera view and provides synchronized visual and audible alerts.
The update also introduces a remote parking exit function, allowing users to maneuver the vehicle out of tight parking spaces via a mobile app.
In addition, intelligent assisted parking efficiency, flexible parking interactions, and parking visualization have been optimized.
For the intelligent cockpit, a newly added Guard Mode activates hazard lights, warning sounds, video recording, and app notifications when the vehicle detects a collision or abnormal intrusion.

A new remote exterior live-view function enables users to check the vehicle’s surroundings while it is locked.
The system further adds features such as a calendar, in-car hotspot sharing, video casting, and an app store, while upgrading the photo album, music player, quick panel, and system memory logic.
On the range management side, the new version introduces dynamic and parked energy consumption displays.
Through the “Worry-Free Smart Driving” algorithm, range estimation is refined by factoring in road gradients, weather conditions, and driving habits. Navigation voice prompts have also been enhanced, alongside improved route planning.

The intelligent companion lumo receives expanded capabilities as well. The update adds expressive feedback and follow-motion effects, while expanding high-frequency voice functions including vehicle status queries, tire pressure inquiries, mirror folding control, and music search, with a stronger focus on practical use cases.
At the vehicle experience level, aster 1.3.0 introduces low-temperature battery heating and a car wash mode. The update also fine-tunes scene personalization settings, logo lighting, and seat comfort features.

firefly first introduced the aster system on Aug. 8 this year alongside version 1.1.0, followed by the rollout of version 1.2.0 to Europe and China in September.
In late November, version 1.3.0 was first released in Europe, with the current China rollout completing and localizing additional functions.
Delivery data show that firefly delivered 6,088 vehicles in November, surpassing the 6,000 mark for the first time and setting a new monthly sales record for the brand.
This marked four consecutive months of month-on-month growth, with cumulative deliveries reaching 30,000 units on Nov. 21.
