Currently, Firefly has begun deliveries in the Netherlands, Norway and Belgium, and will gradually expand to 17 countries across Europe, North America and Southeast Asia.
Firefly marked a major milestone at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition on November 21, showcasing its right-hand-drive (RHD) model and modified variants alongside the NIO brand.
NIO CEO William Li announced at the event that Firefly is approaching 30,000 users.
Since its launch in April, Firefly has steadily expanded within the premium small-car segment, accelerating its delivery pace. Deliveries in October reached 5,912 units, setting a new record.
While accelerating domestic fulfillment, Firefly is also pushing forward its export strategy. The RHD model unveiled at the show is set to be rolled out first in Singapore and Thailand.
In Thailand, NIO will partner with long-established automotive group Thonburi, leveraging its retail channels and service network to support Firefly’s local deployment.
In Singapore, NIO has already confirmed a partnership with Wearnes Automotive.
Beyond Southeast Asia, Firefly is currently on sale in the Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Austria and Portugal, with plans to expand further to a total of 17 markets across Europe, North America and Southeast Asia.
For young users in China, Firefly has launched a “Firefly 7-Day Car Subscription” program in partnership with Sesame Credit and SUPEREV.
Using the “Sesame 800 · Try First” credit model, customers can subscribe for short-term vehicle access.
