Zeekr 9X Five-Seat Version Launches From $66.8K

Zeekr officially launched the 9X five-seat version on July 28.

The new model comes in three trims: Ultra, Hyper and Yaoh Black Edition. After limited-time purchase benefits, prices stand at RMB 451.9K ($66.8K), RMB 525.9K ($77.7K) and RMB 565.9K ($83.6K), respectively.

Compared with the previously launched six-seat version, the five-seat variant lowers the entry threshold for Zeekr’s flagship SUV. The six-seat version is priced between RMB 465.9K ($68.8K) and RMB 599.9K ($88.6K). The five-seat model cuts the starting price by RMB 14K ($2.1K), while the top version is more than RMB 30K ($4.4K) cheaper.

As a new addition to the Zeekr 9X lineup, the five-seat version does not simply remove features. Instead, Zeekr keeps the flagship hardware package while redesigning the cabin layout.

The vehicle maintains the same dimensions as the six-seat version, measuring 5,239mm in length, 2,029mm in width and 1,819mm in height, with a 3,169mm wheelbase.

After removing the third-row seats, rear legroom increases by around 120mm. The expanded cabin offers more than 1,000L of trunk space. With the rear seats folded down, total cargo capacity exceeds 2,100L, making it better suited for family trips, business transportation and long-distance travel.

For passenger comfort, the second row features dual IEMS reclining seats and dual zero-gravity seat modes. The seats support wider-angle reclining positions. A premium electric center armrest is also added, supporting one-touch opening, closing and adjustable positioning. The armrest integrates a crystal rotary control, dual cup holders and ambient lighting. A 6.5L private storage compartment is built inside the armrest.

For customization, the five-seat version adds the Rustic Explorer exterior color and Burgundy interior option. The Yaoh Black Edition comes with an exclusive Night Gold luxury interior.

In terms of luxury equipment, the Zeekr 9X five-seat version retains the brand’s flagship cabin setup. The SUV features dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 cockpit chips, a 16-inch 3.5K OLED central display, a 47-inch AR-HUD and the Zeekr AI OS intelligent cockpit system. The cabin uses Soft NAPPA full-grain leather and natural wood trim. It also comes with a 32-speaker Naim premium audio system and RNC active noise cancellation technology.

Power comes from Zeekr’s Haohan-S luxury hybrid architecture. The full lineup adopts a 900V high-voltage super hybrid platform, offering dual-motor and tri-motor configurations. The tri-motor all-wheel-drive version delivers a maximum output of 1,030kW. It accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 3.1 seconds.

The model offers two battery options: 55kWh and 70kWh. It delivers a CLTC pure electric range of up to 380km and a combined range of up to 1,250km. With 6C ultra-fast charging support, battery replenishment from 20% to 80% takes as little as 9 minutes.

The chassis and intelligent driving systems are also key highlights. The Zeekr 9X five-seat version features the Haohan AI Digital Chassis, equipped with active stabilizer bars, closed dual-chamber air suspension and dual-valve CCD electromagnetic dampers.

The SUV also supports Zeekr’s Qianli Haohan H7/H9 intelligent driving systems. The H9 solution uses dual NVIDIA DRIVE Thor-U chips, delivering a combined computing power of 1,400 TOPS.

Since its launch in September 2025, the Zeekr 9X has delivered nearly 68K units. The model has ranked first among large SUVs priced above RMB 500K ($73.9K) for seven consecutive months. Zeekr said the 9X has achieved an average transaction price above RMB 530K ($78.3K), accounting for around 33% of sales among vehicles priced above RMB 500K ($73.9K).

The launch of the five-seat version keeps the flagship hardware package while reshaping the cabin layout. The move allows Zeekr to further capture demand for large-space, luxury SUVs in the premium segment.

For overseas markets, the Zeekr 9X will begin global expansion in the third quarter of 2026. The model will first enter the Middle East, followed by Europe, Latin America and Central Asia. Zeekr currently operates in more than 50 countries and regions, with cumulative global deliveries surpassing 820K units.
