XPeng Hits 10K Deliveries in Denmark as G9 Marks Milestone

Takeaways
  • XPeng marked a Denmark milestone with its 10,000th cumulative delivery, signaling accelerated European expansion driven by competitive lineup additions and stronger local demand pressures on pricing and share.
  • G9 and G6 registrations powered growth, with 3,177 new XPeng vehicles Jan–Jul 2026, market share at 2.8%, and European prices starting at €47,600 (about $55,000).
  • Targets include compact and midsize EV buyers against incumbent brands, but execution risks include scaling retail and charging, maintaining margins, and meeting faster delivery expectations.

XPeng has surpassed 10,000 cumulative vehicle deliveries in Denmark, with a G9 clinching the milestone, XPeng CEO He Xiaopeng announced on social media on Aug. 12.

The owner is a longtime XPeng customer who had previously leased a G9 and eventually purchased a new G9 Performance Black Edition after using the vehicle.

According to the owner, fast charging, interior space and XNGP driver-assistance technology were the main factors behind the purchase.

XPeng has surpassed 10,000 cumulative vehicle deliveries in Denmark

In March 2025, He Xiaopeng announced that XPeng’s cumulative deliveries in Denmark had reached 4,000 units.

Adding another 6,000 vehicles since then means deliveries over the following roughly 17 months have already exceeded the cumulative volume achieved during the company’s first nearly three years in the market.

XPeng entered Denmark more than four years ago and opened its third directly operated experience store in Europe, with the P5 as its first model.

In February 2023, the G9 and P7 subsequently entered Denmark and other Northern and Western European markets, with deliveries beginning in June that year.

In July 2025, Xpeng introduced the updated G6 and G9 to 11 European markets, including Denmark, with prices starting at €47,600 ($55,000).

In January 2026, the 2026 P7+ entered Europe, with Denmark among its first launch markets.

XPeng has continued expanding its lineup in Denmark this year.

On July 16, the MONA L03 made its global debut in Munich, Germany, and is now available for reservation in Denmark, with prices starting at 239,995 DKK ($37,300).

Registration data show that the G6 and G9 have become key contributors to XPeng’s performance in Denmark.

According to Mobility Denmark data, XPeng registered 3,177 new vehicles in Denmark from January through July 2026, up 106% year over year.

Its market share rose to 2.8%, making it the best-selling Chinese automotive brand in the country during the period.

The G6 has been particularly strong. In July, the model ranked among Denmark’s five best-selling vehicles for the month.

In the first quarter, the G6 also ranked first among Chinese brands in Denmark’s midsize electric SUV segment.

Denmark is only one part of XPeng’s European expansion. On July 29, He Xiaopeng announced that XPeng’s cumulative overseas deliveries had surpassed 100,000 units.

XPeng first entered Europe through Norway, and its sales network now covers 65 countries and regions worldwide.

As of the end of July, XPeng’s global cumulative sales had exceeded 1.2 million vehicles, while its global sales network had grown to more than 1,200 stores.

On the charging side, XPeng’s ultra-fast charging network now covers 31 countries and regions and provides access to more than 2.7 million charging points.
