Porsche delivered 279,449 vehicles globally, down 10.1%, while China sales dropped 26% to 41,938 units
Porsche delivered 41,938 vehicles in the Chinese market in 2025, a significant year-on-year decrease of 26%.
From 2022 to 2024, deliveries fell from 93,300 units to 56,900 units, before dropping below 50,000 units in 2025 for the first time.
China’s used-car transaction volume reached 896,000 units in December, down 9% year-on-year and 2.7% month-on-month.
The incident comes as Porsche faces mounting pressure in China, where deliveries fell 26% YoY in the first three quarters.
The shutdown applies only to Porsche-owned premium charging stations, while dealer chargers, destination charging, and third-party networks will remain accessible.
The first model equipped with Volkswagen’s in-house SoC is expected to enter mass production within the next 3–5 years.

In October, China’s used-car disposal volume reached 842,600 units, up 3.6% month-on-month but down 6.2% year-on-year.
Porsche has yet to disclose the charging time or pricing for the system, but confirmed it will be available for order in 2026 through Porsche Centers and the brand’s online store.
