NIO Completes County-Wide Swap Station Network Coverage in Guangdong

At noon today, NIO officially announced that with the launch of two new NIO Powr Swap Station in Chikan District (Zhanjiang) and Xuwen County, NIO Power has achieved “county-wide coverage” of battery swap services in Guangdong Province.

A total of 428 NIO Powr Swap Stations now serve all 122 districts and counties in Guangdong, ensuring that every district and county has access to NIO Powr Swap Stations and charging piles.

In the field of new energy vehicle energy replenishment, NIO continues to deepen its efforts in building charging and Powr Swap Station infrastructure.

As of April 29, NIO Power has deployed 3,289 Swapping Stations, 2,794 supercharging stations, 4,520 charging stations, and 26,106 charging piles nationwide. It also provides access to over 1,234,000 third-party charging piles.

These facilities are structured around the “nine vertical and nine horizontal” corridors, connecting 14 major city clusters and forming a high-speed powr swap station network covering over 700 cities across China.

Currently, NIO has completed its “county-wide powr swap station coverage” plan in Guangdong, Beijing, and the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region. According to its roadmap, NIO Power aims to achieve powr swap station coverage in 27 provincial-level administrative regions by the end of 2025.
