ONVO Launches “Waiting Points” Subsidy for L90 and L60 Due to Extended Delivery Times

ONVO will provide L90 customers who cannot take delivery within four weeks (28 days) after vehicle lock-in with a daily subsidy of 500 points.

On August 13, ONVO officially launched a “Waiting Points Subsidy” policy for its L90 and L60 models.

According to the official announcement, L90 customers unable to take delivery within four weeks after locking in the vehicle will receive 500 points per day starting from the 29th day after locking in the order. The same subsidy applies to L60 customers who locked in their orders after July 1, 2025, and have been waiting more than four weeks.

The specific rules for the “Waiting Points” are as follows:

  • Points Calculation Start Date: From the 29th day after locking in the order
  • Points Calculation End Date: Vehicle arrival at the delivery center + 3 days
  • Points Issuance Date: Within one week after vehicle pickup, credited to the main user’s account

The policy was introduced mainly to address extended delivery times caused by a surge in orders following the L90’s launch. ONVO stated that since deliveries began on August 1, cumulative deliveries have exceeded 4,000 units.

Due to the spike in orders, even though ONVO had prepared production capacity in advance and actively coordinated supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics operations, delivery times for some orders have still been longer than initially expected.

It is reported that the subsidy points can be directly used in the NIO App or ONVO App store as cash equivalents, redeemable for in-car accessories, lifestyle goods, digital products, and more.

According to data released yesterday, NIO’s total sales last week were 6,100 units, with the ONVO brand accounting for 3,234 units. The L90 contributed 2,093 units, making up 65% of ONVO’s sales and becoming its mainstay model.

The launch of the L90 “Waiting Points” policy is not only a gesture of appreciation for customers’ patience but also a way to protect the new brand’s reputation in its early stages amid delivery pressures.
