XPeng P7+ Deliveries Surpass 80,000, with Post-95s Owners Making Up 80%

One out of every two P7+ vehicles sold comes from a fuel car replacement.

On October 14, XPeng announced that cumulative deliveries of the P7+ model have surpassed 80,000 units, while it has also topped sales in the 150,000-200,000 RMB mid-to-large-size pure electric sedan segment for 10 consecutive months.

According to official backend data, one out of every two P7+ vehicles sold comes from a fuel car replacement.

The XPeng P7+ user profile report reveals that young post-95s families have become the main purchasing force, accounting for a significant 80%. Among them, 75% are married users, indicating the model’s intelligent features and spacious interior appeal strongly to younger demographics.

Additionally, female users make up 40% of P7+ owners, with Twilight Purple being the most popular exterior color among this group.

Regarding purchase decisions, over 75% of users opted for the long-range Max version, demonstrating the success of the “fully-equipped from entry-level” product strategy. Furthermore, more than 40% of buyers seriously considered SUV models before their purchase.

XPeng P7+ Deliveries Surpass 80,000

The XPeng P7+ was officially launched on November 7, 2024, with a price range of 186,800 to 198,800 RMB. Within just three months of its launch, deliveries exceeded 30,000 units, setting a record for the fastest deliveries in its class. In January of this year, it outsold the Tesla Model 3 with 8,114 units sold that month.

The XPeng P7+ has body dimensions of 5056/1937/1512mm and a wheelbase of 3000mm. It features a fastback design and achieves an exceptionally low drag coefficient of 0.206.

In terms of powertrain, the P7+ is exclusively rear-wheel drive with a single motor, offering two power options: 180 kW and 230 kW. Its maximum CLTC comprehensive range reaches 725 km.

On the technology front, the vehicle is equipped with a dual NVIDIA DRIVE Orin chip setup, delivering a total computing power of 508 TOPS. It incorporates 26 perception sensors, utilizes a full-domain 800V high-voltage SiC platform, and supports 5C ultra-fast charging.
