The new-generation IM LS6 Super Extended 52 Max+ version features an 800V high-capacity battery, enabling a 240 km recharge in just 15 minutes.
On October 16, IM Motors officially unveiled the new-generation LS6 Super Extended 52 Max+ version, with a limited-time price of RMB 229,900 ($32,400), RMB 27,000 ($3,800) higher than the previous extended-range model.

The new-generation LS6 debuted on September 10, with the pure electric version starting at RMB 197,900 ($27,800) and the extended-range version from RMB 202,900 ($28,500).
The 52 Max+ edition addresses previous configuration gaps in the extended-range model by adding air suspension with adjustable softness and ride height, and offering an optional NVIDIA Thor-U driving assistance chip with 700 TOPS computing power and LiDAR support.
Powertrain upgrades include the “Stellar” super-extended range system, a 1.5T dedicated ultra-efficient range extender engine, and a 66 kWh Super XiaoYao MAX battery. The model delivers up to 450 km CLTC pure electric range and a total combined range of 1,502 km.

Charging efficiency is enhanced with the 800V high-capacity battery, enabling 240 km of range to be added in just 15 minutes. The battery provides a peak discharge power of 275.5 kW at low charge levels.
This version features 800V SiC Hurricane motors, with dual-motor peak output of 500 kW, 800 N·m torque, and 0–100 km/h acceleration in only 3.48 seconds.
IM Motors continues its previous launch incentives, offering up to 95,600 RMB ($13,400) in benefits for orders placed before October 31. Benefits include lifetime battery warranty for first owners and the IM AD full-function package.

According to official data, IM Motors sold 11,107 vehicles in September, an 82% month-on-month increase. The new-generation LS6 recorded over 10,000 orders within 27 minutes of launch, driving the surge. The introduction of the high-end extended-range 52 Max+ edition aims to capitalize on this momentum.
