Voyah Launches Taishan Flagship SUV, Starting at $53,180

Within 21 minutes of the launch, Voyah reported more than 10,000 firm preorders for Taishan.

On November 18, Voyah officially launched its Taishan flagship SUV, offered in four variants priced between RMB 379,900 ($53,180) and RMB 509,900 ($71,380). The Black Warrior edition is scheduled to begin deliveries in the first quarter of 2026.

The Taishan measures 5,230 × 2,025 × 1,817 mm with a wheelbase of 3,120 mm, and its rear storage compartment can expand to a maximum volume of 1,193 L.

Exterior color options include Crimson Purple, Mountain Blue, Champagne Gold, Xuan Black, Magnolia White and Galaxy Grey.

The model adopts a new design language featuring a large vertical waterfall front grille with chrome trim, a two-tone body with semi-hidden door handles, and a full-width tail light for visual extension.

Inside, the Taishan features options for six-seat and eight-seat layouts, offering three interior color schemes: beige-brown, brown-black and red-black.

Comfort equipment includes a 32-speaker audio system, second-row multifunction touchscreen, cooling/heating box, ceiling-mounted entertainment display, electric sunshades and independent rear air conditioning.

The vehicle integrates Huawei’s ADS 4 intelligent driving system and HarmonyOS Cabin 5, supporting a voice AI large-model interface. The AI Cloud Comfort seats incorporate 66 pressure sensors and enable 26-point massage functions.

For intelligent driving, the Taishan is equipped with lidar, while the Ultra version adopts Huawei ADS Ultra with a four-lidar setup, supporting urban NCA navigation assistance and full-scenario automated parking. The chassis features triple-chamber air suspension, EDC Magic Carpet Control and 16-degree rear-wheel steering.

Powered by an 800-V high-voltage architecture with a 65-kWh battery, the EV delivers a CLTC-rated 370-km pure-electric range and 1,400-km combined range. It supports 5C ultra-fast charging with peak power of 320 kW, charging from 20% to 80% in approximately 12 minutes.

Voyah is offering a launch benefits package valued at RMB 48,000 ($6,720), including exclusive delivery privileges, loyalty points incentives and purchase-tax insurance coverage.
