Huawei’s “Parking Lot to Parking Lot” Feature Launches Nationwide, Supports 500,000 Parking Lots

Park when there’s space, gets better with every use.

On July 1, Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Huawei’s Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, announced on social media that Huawei’s QianKun Intelligent Driving “Parking Lot to Parking Lot” feature now supports 500,000 parking lots across the country. The official slogan is: “Ready to use from the first trip, park when there’s space, and it gets smarter with every use.”

According to official information, QianKun Intelligent Driving allows vehicles to autonomously navigate and park in another parking lot or parking space without needing pre-set parking spots or memory.

The core advantage lies in the fact that there is no need to input map data in advance or manually operate the vehicle for parking. As long as the destination parking lot is within the feature’s coverage area, it can be used from the first time, regardless of whether the parking space is occupied. The system can autonomously find an available parking space and assist in parking.

Additionally, the feature also has self-learning capabilities. As the scale of intelligent driving expands, the number of supported parking lots will continue to grow.

According to the product manager of the AITO M8, the “Parking Lot to Parking Lot” feature will launch simultaneously with the pure electric version of the M8.

Earlier, Huawei officially launched QianKun Intelligent Driving ADS 4 and the next-generation HarmonyOS cockpit HarmonySpace 5. The new QianKun Intelligent Driving ADS 4 is available in four versions: ADS SE Basic Edition, ADS Pro Enhanced Edition, ADS Max Super Edition, and ADS Ultra Flagship Edition. The highest configuration, the ADS Ultra Flagship Edition, supports highway L3 functionality. The MAEXTRO S800, launched on May 30 of this year, is the first model to feature QianKun Intelligent Driving ADS 4.

As of now, in addition to vehicles under the HarmonyOS Intelligent Mobility brand, Huawei’s QianKun Intelligent Driving has expanded to various vehicle types from partner manufacturers, including sedans, SUVs, and MPVs. Models such as the previously released Avatr 06, GAC Trumpchi M8, Dongfeng Lantu Free+, and the upcoming Dongfeng Mengshi 817 all adopt Huawei’s QianKun Intelligent Driving solutions. Currently, over 20 models on sale are equipped with Huawei ADS, with more than 500,000 units installed. The installed base is expected to reach 2 million units by the end of 2025.
