Xiaomi Auto hits 224,700 sales in 2025, achieving 62% of its 350,000-unit annual goal.
On September 25, multiple Xiaomi Auto sales staff revealed that the company is planning to dynamically optimize its vehicle delivery cycle, significantly shortening the time from order placement to vehicle pickup.
Relevant Xiaomi sales personnel stated, “The Xiaomi Auto App will complete an upgrade this afternoon. While previous adjustments to the delivery cycle were mostly in the range of 1-2 weeks, after this App upgrade, it will be visible that some models are expected to be delivered up to 6 weeks ahead of the original schedule, with a maximum advancement of up to 2 months compared to the original cycle.”
According to the aforementioned sales staff, the core reason for the accelerated deliveries is the rapid ramp-up in production capacity.
According to Daiwa Securities, technological upgrades at Xiaomi’s first factory have driven a significant increase in production capacity. Since late August, weekly shipments have stabilized at 10,000-12,000 units, a substantial improvement compared to 7,000-8,000 units from July to early August.
The rapid increase in production capacity is directly reflected in the sales data. Monthly deliveries exceeded 30,000 units in August, breaking the 30,000 mark for two consecutive months. As of mid-September, Xiaomi Auto’s cumulative sales for 2025 have reached 224,700 vehicles, completing 62% of its annual sales target of 350,000 units. This places it third among new energy vehicle brands, behind only XPeng and Leapmotor.
It is worth mentioning that the Phase 2 factory project is also progressing in an orderly manner and is currently awaiting final government approval. The Phase 2 factory is primarily intended for production of the YU7 model. Once officially operational, it will further alleviate Xiaomi Auto’s production capacity pressure.
As of the time of writing, the Xiaomi Car APP shows that for orders placed now for the SU7 model (excluding the Max version), the fastest delivery lead time is 34-37 weeks, while the fastest delivery lead time for the YU7 model is 36-39 weeks.
