The SU7 was Xiaomi’s first production vehicle after entering the automotive industry.

Following its launch in 2024, the model quickly entered the mainstream market with a distinctive design and relatively low entry price.

In February 2025, the performance-oriented SU7 Ultra joined the lineup, extending Xiaomi’s presence into the high-performance electric sedan segment.

On March 19 this year, Xiaomi launched the next-generation SU7, priced from RMB 219,900 ($32,600), with comprehensive upgrades to its intelligent driving capabilities, powertrain and equipment.

As the product continued to evolve, the SU7 also established a more consistent market position.

Data from the CADA and Jingzhen Appraisal showed that the SU7 retained 75.3% of its value after one year, ranking fourth among battery-electric models.

In terms of customer advocacy, the Xiaomi SU7 ranked first among midsize-to-large sedans in Jielanlu’s H1 2026 Net Promoter Score (NPS) rankings.

In sales, the SU7 remains Xiaomi EV’s primary volume driver. The model recorded sales of 21,044 units in July 2026.

The SU7 ranked first among sedans priced above RMB 200,000 ($29,660) in China for four consecutive months.

It also ranked second in China’s BEV sedan sales rankings for July as the highest-priced model in the top 10.

Xiaomi EV delivered 31,267 vehicles overall in July, meaning the SU7 alone accounted for about 67.3% of the company’s monthly deliveries.

At the technology event in July, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said cumulative deliveries across Xiaomi EV’s lineup had surpassed 700,000 units, driven by its two core models, the SU7 and YU7.

SkyNomad N90 Max

Meanwhile, Xiaomi’s new SkyNomad lineup added two extended-range electric SUVs, the N70 Max and N90 Max.

They opened for pre-orders at the end of July and are scheduled to officially launch and begin deliveries in September.

Xiaomi EV remains in an expansion phase on the sales front. Goldman Sachs has recently published a delivery forecast report on Xiaomi EV for the next several years.

Per the report, Xiaomi EV is projected to deliver 500,000 units in 2026 and 770,000 units in 2027.

Deliveries are expected to exceed 1,036,000 units in 2028 as it chases the 1‑million‑unit annual sales mark.

The SU7 series is expected to account for 223,000 units in 2026, or nearly half of Xiaomi EV’s projected annual deliveries.

Goldman Sachs said Xiaomi EV has moved relatively quickly in building production capacity and managing its supply chain since the SU7 launch, with its production ramp-up now ranking among the industry’s fastest.
