By the end of 2026, Dongfeng Nissan will launch at least five new energy models, covering various powertrains including pure-electric, plug-in hybrid, and extended-range.
Today, the 50,000th unit of the Dongfeng Nissan N7 rolled off the production line.
On April 27 this year, the Nissan N7 was officially launched with a price range of 119,900 to 149,900 yuan, reaching the milestone of 50,000 units in just eight months.
For Dongfeng Nissan, which had experienced a sales decline, the N7 is not just a new vehicle but a turning point in its comprehensive transformation.

The success of the N7 is no accident. During its development, Dongfeng Nissan obtained “decision-making authority over 99.9% of the content,” achieving full autonomy from product definition and R&D to supply chain selection.
The Nissan N7 is positioned as a mid-to-large-sized sedan, with body dimensions of 4930/1895/1487 mm in length, width, and height, and a wheelbase of 2915 mm.
In terms of intelligent features, the high-end variant of the N7 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P in-car chip paired with a 15.6-inch central control screen. Its advanced driver-assistance system utilizes the NVIDIA Orin X chip and Momenta’s end-to-end solution.

The market has responded positively to the transformation represented by the N7. Pre-sales orders for the model exceeded 10,000 units within two weeks, firm orders surpassed 20,000 units within 50 days of launch, and June sales reached 6,189 units, ranking first on the joint venture new energy vehicle sales chart.
In August, the N7 achieved a monthly delivery volume exceeding 10,000 units. This sales boost directly contributed to the recovery of Dongfeng Nissan’s overall performance, with the company achieving consecutive month-on-month sales growth since June.
The N7 is only the starting point for Dongfeng Nissan’s new energy transformation.
Following the N7, the all-new plug-in hybrid mid-sized sedan—the Dongfeng Nissan N6—was also launched in December. Meanwhile, the all-new mid-to-large-sized SUV—the Dongfeng Nissan NX8—has completed filings with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
It will offer both extended-range and pure electric powertrain options and is scheduled for launch in the first half of 2026.
According to the plan, the brand will introduce at least five new energy models by the end of 2026, covering various powertrain forms such as pure electric, plug-in hybrid, and extended-range.
